Education Program

CMHA is committed to public awareness efforts that result in reduced stigma of mental illness. Through education and training activities our Educator/ Trainer assists services and groups in our community to understand the issues that people with mental illness face and to learn ways to support people with a mental illness. The Educator/ Trainer has written a number of articles that appear in local newspapers throughout our districts. These articles are on a broad range of mental health topics, promoting upcoming events and offering strategies for achieving mental health. Understanding each other builds an inclusionary community.
