Geriatric Psychiatry

The District Mental Health Services for Older Adults Program’s staff have access to Dr. David Conn, Geriatric Psychiatrist for client assessment, case consultation or education.

This valuable service enables seniors to be assessed by a geriatric psychiatrist in their own community rather than travelling far distances and dealing with extensive wait times to see a specialist.

Educationals provided by Dr. Conn allows our geriatric workers in the district to enhance their skills and knowledge in treating older adults with serious mental illness or dementia.
